It is the dream of most, if not all, fashion models to land a spot in the largest lingerie spectacle in the world, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, but the lucky few ladies must undergo a number demanding rules ahead of the big day, according to a source.
This year’s edition of the hotly anticipated runway event will take place for the first time in London – and for the second occasion outside the United States – on Tuesday (December 2nd), and while some of the world’s sexiest mannequins flocked to the British capital, it is said that they were awaited by a Victoria’s Secret creative director who saw them more or less like athletes.
An insider told The Sun that some models, including Behati Prinsloo and Lily Aldridge, have had their room service menus swapped with low calorie meals and that the hotel has extended its gym hours so that each of the nearly fifty models hits the catwalk with their bodies on point. The girls were also reportedly given a strict 2:00 AM curfew during their stay.
“Boss Ed Razek sets the very strict rules for the girls. He seens the Angels as athletes,” the source revealed. “What’s particularly crazy is that anyone in breach of the rules is fined. They’re treating it like a military operation as this is the biggest show they’ve ever put on.”
