The Creation of a Movie Monster….Makeup Art, and Twisted Minds Collide

Over the years we have seen so many horror films, that have become classics. They have become classics for a common reason. The monsters in the films are unique, twisted, and true artistic creations. They surpass the stereotype of a scary predator, stalker, murderer, etc. And, it’s all thanks to the twisted creativity of makeup artists. They start with a concept, then a vision, they begin doing the makeup, and that brings on a heavy flow of even more inspiration. It can easily be said that the vision of these makeup artist’s make the actual film. If the monster or creature they are creating is not that scary enough, the movie may be a fail. But, obviously these folks are raising their bars high….hence making these horror films all big successes.
