Taylor Swift 2016 Grammy speech threw some really classy shade at haters, one of which is Kanye West. She won the best album of the year for the second time! And during her acceptance speech she made some really good points while getting back at the people who have dissed her.
As the first woman to win album of the year twice, she had some advice to young women all over the world. The words of wisdom from Taylor Swift 2016 Grammy speech were:
“There are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success, or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame but if you just focus on the work and you don’t let those people sidetrack you someday when you get where you’re going, you’ll look around and you will know that it was you and the people who love you who put you there.”
“And that will be the greatest feeling in the world.” She finalised her speech
Most people think this was some serious backlash to Kanye West’s Famous song lyrics saying “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex Why? I made that bitch famous God damn I made that bitch famous”
While some are convinced the Taylor Swift 2016 Grammy speech was all for Kanye, it is quite likely that she did not care for Kanye that much. I mean she knows she made herself famous and she knows nobody really cares for what Kanye has to say, so why talk back to him? This may have just been a motivational speech for young women. Taylor identifies herself as a feminist and she does believe in women watching out for each other, so she may have been giving young women some valuable life advice. But whatever her aim was, she definitely made some really important points.
