Samira Omar had an accident when she was 17 years old and because of that accident she has a terrible scar on her face. Actually this world “accident” may be used wrongly because her teenage friends throw away boiling water on her face. She had to live a unrecognizable face and this was a terrific situation.
“It’s made me even happier than I’ve ever been, because it shows me how much I can overcome. I can overcome anything,” Samira Omar said.
She has undergone so many plastic surgery however she couldn’t make it properly. Heretofore she met with a tattoo artist Basma Hameed. She is one of the professional tattoo artist in changing skin colors especially when a accident is happened or the situation includes a illness.
Basme Hameed says that “I was always bullied growing up, always teased because I had burns on my face so I can completely relate to all the kids who come in with scars and birthmarks.” You can image what Basme’s work like that you are using a photoshop computer program and you want to change color with respect the same color with other and near area that you are working on it.
“Doctors are supposed to have the answers to everything, when you’re young and you get an answer like that, it’s hurtful. Because I had so many surgeries, for the doctor to say ‘That’s it, there’s still so much discoloration,’ it was hard. But when I tell [patients] my story, that I’m living my life and won’t let anything stop me, it motivates and inspires them.” Says Hameed to Samira Omar.
That was really correct point that Hameed thought about the doctors. It may happen because they are thinking each of patients as a machine and they lose their feeling and use technical language whatever you live.
