Dolce &Gabbana’s new collection has just been revealed.You know it is a very famous Italian fashion house.It has launched its new collection for Muslim women to meet the growing demand.
The collection mainly consists of hijab and abaya models.It is not the first time Western fashion world moved in the direction of Muslim women wearing,especially to the Middle East.Some brands like Tommy Hilfiger,H&M ,DKNY Oscar de la Renta, Mango and Monique Lhuillier also have launched collections for their Muslim customers.They intentionally preferred the period of Ramadan ,apparently.
Thomson Reuters reported that Muslim shoppers spent $266 billion on clothing and footwear in 2013.And they are expected to spend $484 billion by 2019.This is highly because Dolce&Gabbana’s new collection targeted the Muslim women this time.

Also,the reactions from the fashion fans are considerably positive.Because this endeavour also paved the way for other fashion houses to create Muslim women.
In fact,Stefano Gabbana had previously given some signals for this collection by saying that:”I’m really fascinated with the Middle East and we’ve just completed a prêt-a-porter collection of abayas and sheylas.Pieces have some lace, embroidery and some prints – but not too much.”
But there are also negative responses to the collection.One of these is about collection’s being outdated.
‘It’s good for a first timer designer like this. But it’s still so 2007 in the Middle East,’ one Instagram user commented.
